Skimpy Thongs

Video is of a friend getting his tongue pierced in a small underground shop in South Korea. According to Korean law all piercings must be done in a medical facility by a doctor. The city was very ghetto and piercing shops like this are actually illegal in Korea. Body piercings and tattoos are not popular in Korea at all. Those with tattoo who appear on Korean TV programs are forced to cover them. So finding even a legal place to get this done was impossible, and since none of us spoke Korean it was a miracle we found this guy to do it. This shop owner specialized in selling jewlery, not piercing. He spoke almost no English, and most communication was done with hand gestures and a calculator to negotiate price. How clean, safe, or whatever else this place was… we don’t know. It was a night of partying, drinking, and fun and that’s all we cared about. The next day my friends tongue was swollen so badly that he couldn’t talk and after a few days he removed the peircing. This video was taken in late 2003, maybe early 2004. We were all soldiers in the US Army, stationed at Camp Red Cloud in Uijongbu, South Korea. Those that want to argue about Army Regulations allowing soldiers to wear piercings please reference “AR 670-1″. It says nothing about what soldiers can and can not wear while off duty.
